About The Position

Responsible for overseeing radiographic imaging operations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services within a hospital setting. Collaborates with radiology teams to optimize workflow, maintain equipment, and uphold patient safety standards. Acts as a lead technologist, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to radiology staff.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology required or Bachelor's Degree Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Registered Technologist [ARRT-R] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • Experience as a radiologic technologist 3-5 years required
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory role 2-3 years required
  • Proficient in operating radiographic equipment and producing high-quality images.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of radiology safety standards, including radiation protection protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures following established protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes.
  • Lead and coordinate daily operations of the radiography team, providing technical guidance and oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including radiation protection for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating radiology staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate imaging services.
  • Monitor and maintain radiography equipment, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure accurate patient records and documentation, including verifying patient identification and imaging requisitions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care in the radiology department.
