Requirements
- High school diploma and/or equivalent
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or currently attending in good standing
- Radiography License or Student Tech license in the State of NM
- Current BLS
Nice To Haves
- Current ARRT® certification or will have obtained ARRT certification upon 60 days after graduating from accredited school of radiology
- Willingness to obtain ARRT(R)(M); Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by State of NM
- 1+ years of related experience in a hospital setting
- Bone Density experience and willingness to get certified within one year
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures
- Proven ability to problem solve
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and exercise sound judgment
Responsibilities
- Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of diagnostic services as requested by a licensed medical provider
- Provide general clerical support duties to include scheduling patients and answering phones
- Maintains credentials and/or licensure
- Attends and participates in departmental staff meetings
- Maintains and monitors departmental equipment
- Collects data and maintains supply levels
- Other duties as assigned
