About The Position

The Lead Quality Engineer manages, ensures, and improves capabilities to comply with internal and external standards and regulations. The role applies quality best practices and includes product quality review associated with manufacturing processes. It ensures compliance with international management system standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001, performs quality system audits and risk assessments, and coordinates special-process audits while serving as a liaison with external auditors. The position uses in-depth quality expertise, analytical thinking, and technical experience to carry out policy and strategy, investigate causes and corrective actions, and support nonconformance dispositions and Material Review Board (MRB) submittals. It makes judgments and proposes solutions for complex manufacturing processes with technical variety or interdependent production cycles, drawing on internal and limited external sources. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Employment is contingent on demonstrating U.S. Person status as defined in the posting, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
