About The Position

The Lead QC Lab Technician ensures that products meet PCNA specifications by operating, monitoring, and adjusting blending equipment. The role reviews daily records for accuracy, trains new associates, and works with the team to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Other duties include testing water, syrup, sugar, finished products, and packaging according to PCNA quality procedures and methods. The technician works closely with the QC Supervisor and QC Manager to support a productive and efficient team.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent, or three years of quality control experience.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to think analytically.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Self-motivated, with strong initiative.
• Ability to learn and follow established procedures without deviation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good training and leadership skills.
• Ability to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

• Background in chemistry and a laboratory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform micro blend operations.
• Test finished products, packages, water, syrup, and high-fructose corn syrup.
• Monitor production lines for beverage quality.
• Calibrate equipment.
• Test and treat water.
• Collect, plate, read, and record microbiology samples.
• Receive concentrate.
• Control laboratory inventory using Kanban.
• Train new technicians.
• Verify, set up, and perform CIP.
• Organize storage and perform housekeeping and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
