About The Position
FuturLab is seeking a Lead QA to join the PowerWash Simulator 2 team. The successful candidate will be highly organized and proactive, ensuring that internal and external quality teams are appropriately assigned. As the project's primary QA contact, the Lead QA will drive quality improvements through interdisciplinary processes and keep core stakeholders informed about project health.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in lead or management QA positions.
- At least 5 years of experience in QA positions.
- Experience working closely with production, technology, art, and design departments.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with different types of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo first-party certification requirements.
- Candidates must have a valid UK work visa.
Nice To Haves
- Have supported at least one title from pre-production through post-launch support.
- Familiarity with the PowerWash Simulator franchise.
- Experience with live-service video games.
- Experience with QA automation.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily QA strategy across six platforms and multiple branches, aligned with submission and release cycles.
- Work with discipline leads to identify how QA can improve their pipelines.
- Work with the LiveOps team to ensure content drops are tested efficiently.
- Provide clear updates on product health, critical bugs, delivery risks, and risks to the live user experience.
- Supervise the project’s QA team and provide training where required.
- Identify opportunities for QA to flag and mitigate risks as early as possible.
- Support the QA Manager in maintaining quality assurance processes and standards.
