This role is responsible for preparing and executing training for all team members on the night shift. The Lead Production member must be able to manage 6+ employees, report daily shift reports, and conduct daily shift production meetings. This individual will assist during production to ensure team members are working safely, meeting goals, and are cross-trained weekly. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and maintaining a clean work environment are essential. The role involves troubleshooting in all areas of the production lines, verifying product quality (A grade), and ensuring the correct product is being produced during shift and order changes. The Lead Production member will also fill in for the supervisor when needed, perform all jobs within the department, and properly start up and shut down the lines, training team members accordingly. Additionally, this role involves identifying and addressing off-quality issues, training associates on fixes, ensuring adherence to PPE and safety guidelines, and operating a lift truck. Technical assistance on product features, competitive analysis, and specifications will be provided. The role may require working different shifts for training purposes and working in different departments to gain experience.
