Prepare and execute training for all team members on shift. This role requires the ability to manage 6+ employees, report daily shift reports for the department, and perform daily shift production meetings with team members. The Lead Production will assist where necessary during production to ensure all team members are working safely and goals are being met. This role is responsible for ensuring team members are working together and are being trained, with a focus on cross-training weekly. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and maintaining a clean and healthy work environment are essential. The Lead Production will help troubleshoot in all areas on the lines, perform hour checks to verify product quality, and ensure the correct product is being produced during every shift and order change. This position may fill in for a supervisor when needed and requires performing all jobs within the department. Responsibilities include properly starting up and shutting down the lines and training team members accordingly, identifying off-quality issues and training associates on corrective actions, and ensuring all team members follow PPE & Safety Guidelines. The role also involves being certified to drive a lift truck, properly using a handheld hoist control and training associates on its correct procedure, providing technical assistance on product features, competitive analysis, and specifications. The Lead Production must check that the correct product is running and notify management if a recipe needs to be changed, training associates on the correct procedure. This role may be asked to work different shifts for training purposes and will work in different departments to learn.
