This hourly role is responsible for ensuring overall compliance with quality, safety, and operational policies and procedures. The Lead Production will foster strong relationships between production, maintenance, and sanitation personnel to maintain a clean and safe working environment. This position involves maintaining key performance indicators, assisting in continuous improvement activities, coordinating cross-training, preparing raw materials, maintaining inventory, completing daily reports, and conducting paperwork audits. The Lead Production is expected to create a sense of ownership within the team for cleanliness and achieving production targets, working closely with operators to identify and correct equipment and process deficiencies. This role includes leading direct reports through training, work assignments, and performance management, and may require acting as the sole leadership on shift.
