About The Position

Controls the operation of a fast-paced production machine and visually inspects and performs quality audits of product on the line while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The work schedule is a rotating 3 days on/ 4 days off, 4 days on 3 days off, with each shift being 12 hours.

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow through on specific instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Good prior attendance and punctuality record.
Ability to lift 35-50 lbs as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Prior experience in a fast-paced production environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

Verifies that labels being run match work orders per the production kit.
Monitors quantity of labels on line and replaces labels when supply runs low.
Adjusts machine operation in order to maintain predefined work order specifications.
Communicates with Line Lead regarding operational issues and machine productivity, and assists in resolving problems as needed.
Assists in production line setup at the start of the shift and product changeovers on machines during the shift and ensures they are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Performs quality checks of machine label application in accordance with specified requirements of production kit and direction from Line Lead.
Performs basic troubleshooting of machine equipment.
Works close with Quality Technicians to check the product and ensure all specified requirements are met.
Removes labeled bottled with quality defects from the line for review by Quality Technician.
Communicates with Maintenance Technicians on any mechanical issues.
Complies with all sanitation and safety rules and regulations.
Reviews, sorts, and audits materials as needed.
Performs off line sorting as needed.
Assists in taping of boxes for finished product.
Strives for continuous improvements in production process.
