PayPal is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the data pillar of its Risk Decisioning Platform. The platform powers fraud, credit, and compliance decisions in real time at global scale. The product manager will work backwards from measurable outcomes and translate them into grounded specifications. They will collaborate with engineering, data science, risk strategy, and governance teams to build scalable solutions, track data health, and drive legacy migration. The role also leads product reviews and steering committee updates as a subject-matter expert, with broad impact across fraud, credit, and compliance. PayPal's balanced hybrid model provides three days in the office and two days at either a PayPal office or the employee's home workspace for the majority of employees. The position has 10% travel. Compensation depends on location and relevant experience: $176,500–$262,350 annually in San Jose, California, and $160,500–$238,700 annually in Chicago, Illinois or Austin, Texas. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentives.
