About The Position

Replika is seeking a hands-on Lead Product Designer with impeccable taste, strong ownership, and a deep love for users. This role involves crafting high-quality user experiences across mobile and web during a critical product phase for Replika. The designer will shape what millions of people see, feel, and interact with, from onboarding to daily engagement. Given the deeply personal nature of the product's conversations, the design must build and maintain user trust at every touchpoint. The ideal candidate will have experience with sleek, polished consumer apps, be fast, thoughtful, and meticulous about details.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience designing mobile & web products at scale (200K+ MAU) in B2C environments.
A portfolio showcasing impeccable taste, product thinking, and craft, with a proven track record of creating sleek, beautiful, and intuitive apps.
Proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for shipping real products.
Strong user focus and obsession with detail.
Curiosity, collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for building impactful products.
Excellent communication skills in English (C1 or higher preferred).

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI, conversational UI, or emotionally engaging products.
Experience with UX research, including planning, conducting, and integrating insights into design decisions.
Prompt engineering experience.
Experience building or scaling a design system from scratch.

Responsibilities

Design smooth, beautiful customer journeys across mobile and web, including onboarding, new features, and interactive UI.
Engage extensively with users to understand their needs and preferences.
Own the end-to-end design process from idea generation to prototyping and final design.
Collaborate closely with the product manager and engineers to bring ideas to fruition.
Utilize data and feedback for rapid iteration and improvement, following a ship, learn, repeat cycle.
Contribute to shaping and evolving the design system.
