Lead, Procurement, Logistics

Nike•Beaverton, OR

About The Position

The Procurement Logistics Lead strengthens Nike’s operational performance through strategic category execution. The role partners with Global Logistics Procurement and category leads; global and geography transportation, distribution, and operations teams; Procurement Operations; Finance; Legal; and the procurement managed service provider. Global teams develop category strategies, and this role translates them into practical execution across global logistics, with a primary focus on distribution, third-party logistics (3PL), and outbound transportation. This is a category execution role rather than a traditional sourcing role. The Lead translates global logistics requirements into procurement plans, leads execution from strategy through supplier recommendation and contract award, and works with stakeholders to deliver value, manage risk, and advance business objectives. The role also guides Procurement Operations and the procurement managed service provider, analyzes spend, markets, suppliers, and operations, and communicates recommendations and outcomes to executives.
