Lead Principal Product Manager

OracleUnited States,

About The Position

Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI) is building a modern healthcare platform that connects data, workflows, and experiences across the health ecosystem. Our mission is to improve health and quality of life globally by making health and research data easier to access, understand, and use for patients, clinicians, administrators, and researchers. We are looking for an experienced Lead Principal Product Manager to help define, prioritize, and deliver the platform capabilities required to deploy, operate, upgrade, and manage Oracle Health products at scale. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of product strategy, enterprise healthcare technology, cloud infrastructure, lifecycle management, customer onboarding, and operational readiness. As a Lead Principal Product Manager, you will own product outcomes for key platform capabilities within OHAI, with emphasis on control plane experiences, product lifecycle management, environment provisioning, deployment automation, upgrade strategy, customer readiness, and operational scalability. This role will help define how Oracle Health products move from contract and SKU definition through provisioning, deployment, validation, upgrade, support, and ongoing lifecycle operations. You will partner closely with engineering, platform provisioning, DevOps/SRE, security, release, support, implementation, consulting, product, and customer-facing teams to create scalable, repeatable, and reliable operating models. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on product leader who is comfortable operating in complex technical and organizational environments. You will translate customer, operational, and platform needs into clear product requirements, roadmap priorities, release plans, and measurable outcomes. You will be expected to balance customer urgency, technical feasibility, regulatory expectations, operational readiness, and long-term platform strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience leading complex software, enterprise SaaS, cloud platform, healthcare technology, infrastructure, lifecycle management, or operational tooling initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to own product strategy and execution for complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Experience with platform products, control planes, provisioning systems, deployment automation, lifecycle management, upgrade workflows, environment management, or enterprise operations.
  • Strong technical fluency with cloud infrastructure concepts, APIs, data flows, integrations, reliability, security, scalability, release management, and operational readiness.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous operational needs into clear product direction, requirements, prioritization decisions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong customer orientation, with the ability to understand healthcare operational, clinical, technical, and business needs and translate them into durable platform capabilities.
  • Experience working across engineering, DevOps/SRE, product, release, support, consulting, implementation, security, compliance, and customer-facing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Sound product judgment, strong prioritization skills, and a bias for action in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle, agile delivery practices, release planning, operational support models, and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using qualitative and quantitative inputs to make decisions, measure impact, and reassess priorities.
  • High ownership, resilience, curiosity, and a genuine passion for improving healthcare experiences through scalable platform and operational capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or modernizing healthcare, clinical, EHR, revenue cycle, interoperability, cloud platform, deployment, provisioning, or lifecycle management products.
  • Familiarity with healthcare privacy, security, compliance, disaster recovery, customer readiness, and operational readiness expectations.
  • Experience with SKU-to-provisioning workflows, SKU-to-BOM composition, customer environment builds, regional deployment readiness, domain strategy, upgrade planning, or deployment governance.
  • Experience working in large-scale cloud, platform, or enterprise product environments with distributed teams and complex dependencies.
  • Comfort engaging with executives, clinicians, administrators, implementation teams, technical stakeholders, support teams, and customer-facing field organizations.
  • Experience creating repeatable product operations artifacts, SOPs, onboarding playbooks, readiness dashboards, and lifecycle management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for OHAI platform capabilities related to control plane, lifecycle management, provisioning, deployment, upgrades, and environment operations.
  • Own product requirements for internal and external control plane capabilities that improve visibility, consistency, automation, and governance across customer environments.
  • Partner with engineering, DevOps/SRE, provisioning, release, support, implementation, consulting, security, privacy, compliance, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions for healthcare customers.
  • Translate complex deployment, provisioning, SKU, environment, and lifecycle workflows into clear product requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and operational readiness plans.
  • Help define how customer contracts, SKUs, bills of materials, tenant/environment needs, customer URLs, L0 domains, regional requirements, and deployment dependencies flow into provisioning and lifecycle operations.
  • Drive product direction for environment build strategy, customer onboarding, upgrade readiness, new region readiness, and deployment automation.
  • Partner with engineering and platform teams to improve automation, observability, repeatability, and reliability across the product lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across product pillars, including alignment between Core Clinicals, platform services, provisioning systems, operations teams, and other OHAI products.
  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs across customer value, technical feasibility, operational complexity, regulatory expectations, supportability, and business impact.
  • Create and maintain clear operating artifacts, including product requirements, roadmap documentation, dependency maps, release readiness materials, Jira/Confluence documentation, SOPs, and customer readiness trackers.
  • Establish success metrics for platform and lifecycle capabilities, such as provisioning cycle time, upgrade readiness, and operational handoff quality.
  • Communicate product direction, changes, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to executive stakeholders, internal teams, field organizations, and customers.
