About The Position

Parker Landing Child Development Center, part of Endeavor Schools, is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher. The teacher will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document student progress. The role also includes helping lead innovative learning activities, ensuring children’s safety and well-being, monitoring their development, and creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The school describes a supportive work environment and provides educators with resources, education incentives, and career development programs. The hourly pay rate is $20.00 to $22.00, depending on education and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for Early Childhood education.

Nice To Haves

CDA/ECT certification preferred.
