About The Position

This is a Lead Teacher role in a child care center, focused on inspiring preschool children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with current and prospective families. The role also includes mentoring fellow Teachers and contributing to the success of the center.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Stay knowledgeable about and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
