About The Position
Cornerstone Learning Center is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers for the Preschool age group. The role involves leading all aspects of the classroom, implementing activities that encourage child development, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Establishing a professional rapport with families is also a key responsibility. The center is a family-oriented, close-knit organization that values its team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma OR GED
- Ability to pass all background checks

Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
