About The Position
Join HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher, supporting children from infancy through preschool in a joyful, engaging early education environment. The center encourages children to learn, play, and grow through age-appropriate learning experiences. This position is located in Rohnert Park, California, and offers compensation of $20–$24 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain classrooms that meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization, providing spaces where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
