Lead Preschool Teacher
About The Position
The Lead Preschool Teacher works at The Learning Experience, an early childhood academic childcare center focused on joyful, engaging learning for children from infancy through preschool. The role helps children learn, play, and grow through age-appropriate activities, supportive classroom environments, and attention to each child’s development. The teacher plans and leads engaging learning activities, maintains a clean, safe, and organized classroom, monitors children’s developmental milestones, and communicates daily updates with families through a mobile app. The role also involves collaborating with fellow teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
