About The Position

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable Lead Preschool Teacher who is ready to build a classroom children love, create meaningful relationships with families, and grow their career in Early Childhood Education. For over 40 years, Sakonnet Early Learning Center has been a part of the Tiverton community, providing children with a safe, nurturing place to learn, play, explore, and grow. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to meet required background screening requirements
• Experience working with children in a childcare center, preschool, Head Start program, after-school program, summer camp, recreation program, or another youth-focused setting
