About The Position

Carroll Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, dedicated teacher for its three-year-old preschool classroom. This full-time role begins in January 2027, with students attending Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The teacher will construct curricula, develop syllabi, maintain high academic and behavioral expectations, support and instruct students at all ability levels, and deliver high-quality instruction. The preferred candidate is enthusiastic about working with youth, understands core concepts and curricula, and wants to work in a Christian environment.

The school’s educational program is rooted in Catholic tradition and aims to support students’ academic excellence and personal growth. The teacher is expected to support the school’s Catholic mission and contribute to a family-oriented faith community that values Christian service, respect, and responsibility.

Requirements

• Current Professional Educators License in Early Childhood Education, or a K–9 PEL with comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study with logically sequenced objectives.
• Use varied instructional techniques to meet students’ individual needs and abilities.
• Practice positive, consistent discipline in classroom management.
• Communicate with parents about academic, behavioral, or safety concerns.
• Evaluate students’ academic growth.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and appropriately confidential records, including gradebook and attendance records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the work environment and grow professionally.
• Establish positive relationships and rapport with students.
