About The Position

Parker Landing Child Development Center is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to create a positive learning environment and support children's development. The teacher will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document student progress. The role also involves helping lead learning activities, ensuring children's safety and well-being, monitoring development, and fostering a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $20.00 to $22.00, depending on education and experience. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in early childhood education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Ability to be patient, collaborative, and creative, and a passion for early childhood education.

Nice To Haves

CDA/ECT certification preferred.
