About The Position
Join a HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. The centers focus on developing children from infancy through preschool and make early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children can learn, play, and grow. The role involves leading age-appropriate learning activities, maintaining safe and organized classrooms, supporting children’s development, communicating with families, and collaborating with fellow teachers.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to create fun learning.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms that allow children to explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
