This is a full-time position for a Lead in the Shipping department on the 1st Shift (C Crew). The role involves assisting the Supervisor with department set-up and daily operations, ensuring compliance with USDA, production, and HACCP requirements. The Lead will monitor various aspects of the operation, including shoulder cuts, deboning mechanical issues, and meat supply. They will also make staffing decisions based on product flow, mix, and attendance, and will relieve line personnel as needed and fill in for absenteeism. Additionally, the Lead will perform wash downs during breaks, maintain general housekeeping, and serve as a backup to the Supervisor during their absence.
