About The Position

Edelman is seeking a Master Plumber to lead complex residential plumbing installations. This role involves mentoring junior installers, managing job sites efficiently, and ensuring all work is completed on budget, to code, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of installations, solve problems proactively, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of residential plumbing install experience.
Valid Illinois Plumbing License (Illinois Licensed Plumber credential per IDPH).
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Valid driver's license and insurable through the company carrier.
Must supply own tools to perform Install Level 5 work.
Ability to lift up to 300 lbs.
Comfort working in tight spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold).
Leadership skills to run a job unsupervised and train others.

Nice To Haves

Commercial plumbing experience.
Blueprint/civil print reading skills.
Experience running crews.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of complex residential plumbing installs, including kitchen and bath remodels, fixture and system installs, from start to finish.
Supervise and train assistants and junior installers on the jobsite, ensuring projects stay on budget and on schedule.
Develop and present solutions for any issues that arise during installations.
Install and connect all waste, vent, gas, and water piping according to the Illinois Plumbing Code.
Communicate effectively with homeowners, protect their homes during the job, and ensure the site is left clean.
Manage checklists, paperwork, material orders, and inventory accurately.
