Join our team as a Lead Planning & Logistics Specialist and play a critical role in optimizing global supply chain operations. In this position, you will lead supplier performance initiatives, drive material availability, and serve as a key interface across Product Development, Sourcing, Service, and Manufacturing teams supporting operations in the U.S. and Austria. This role combines hands-on execution with leadership responsibility, driving continuous improvement across planning, logistics, and supplier management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, logistics, or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience working across complex, cross-functional, and global teams
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global environment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure reliable material availability to support production schedules and customer demand
  • Lead the execution, prioritization, and continuous improvement of supplier ordering processes
  • Proactively identify and drive solutions to mitigate supply risks and improve on-time delivery performance
  • Analyze and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and order quantities to balance service, cost, and working capital
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand and material forecasts in alignment with production planning
  • Lead cross-functional coordination to implement and standardize logistics processes across U.S. and Austria operations
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, training, and performance expectations for logistics and planning processes
  • Partner with project management and operations teams to support production planning setup and ramp-up activities in the U.S.
  • Own and continuously improve ERP/MRP master data integrity and related planning processes
