Join our team as a Lead Planning & Logistics Specialist and play a critical role in optimizing global supply chain operations. In this position, you will lead supplier performance initiatives, drive material availability, and serve as a key interface across Product Development, Sourcing, Service, and Manufacturing teams supporting operations in the U.S. and Austria. This role combines hands-on execution with leadership responsibility, driving continuous improvement across planning, logistics, and supplier management processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, logistics, or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Experience working across complex, cross-functional, and global teams
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global environment

Responsibilities

Ensure reliable material availability to support production schedules and customer demand
Lead the execution, prioritization, and continuous improvement of supplier ordering processes
Proactively identify and drive solutions to mitigate supply risks and improve on-time delivery performance
Analyze and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and order quantities to balance service, cost, and working capital
Develop and maintain accurate demand and material forecasts in alignment with production planning
Lead cross-functional coordination to implement and standardize logistics processes across U.S. and Austria operations
Oversee supplier onboarding, training, and performance expectations for logistics and planning processes
Partner with project management and operations teams to support production planning setup and ramp-up activities in the U.S.
Own and continuously improve ERP/MRP master data integrity and related planning processes
