About The Position

Join INNIO Group as a Planning & Logistics Specialist and play a key role in optimizing supply chain operations across a global supplier network. As a Planning & Logistics Specialist, you will drive material availability, improve supplier performance, and serve as a critical link between Product Development, Sourcing, Service, and Manufacturing teams across the U.S. and Austria. This role supports both day-to-day execution and continuous improvement initiatives within a growing, international manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in supply chain, materials planning, purchasing, or logistics within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Collaborative, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to work across global teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely material availability to support production schedules and customer demand
  • Manage purchase order execution and supplier communication for assigned vendors
  • Monitor supplier performance and proactively identify and mitigate supply risks
  • Analyze and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and order quantities to balance service and cost
  • Develop and maintain accurate material forecasts in alignment with production and demand planning
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, and operations teams to improve supply chain performance
  • Support the rollout of new logistics processes, tools, and workflows in collaboration with U.S. and Austria teams
  • Lead supplier onboarding and training on logistics processes, expectations, and systems
  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP master data to ensure planning and execution integrity
