About The Position

PT Solutions is hiring a Lead Physical Therapist to provide acute care physical therapy at its clinic on the main hospital campus of Ascension St. Vincent Health System. The 376-bed hospital offers care across a wide range of services and includes Evansville Orthopedics, which is Joint Certified, and Evansville Inpatient, a Level II Trauma Center that is Joint Certified and Stroke Certified. The clinic provides specialized rehabilitation services including wound care, splinting, and early mobility programs.

The role focuses on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and developing timely treatment plans tailored to each patient. The Lead Physical Therapist works with patients recovering from surgery, injury, and medical conditions, and builds positive working relationships with patients, families, clinicians, physicians, case management, nurses, and other hospital team members.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Physical therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Current or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care that empowers each patient to exceed their functional outcomes.
• Establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Build positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
