Lead Physical Therapist (PT), Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is partnering with Ascension St. Vincent Health System to hire a Lead Physical Therapist for their acute care clinic located on the main hospital campus. This role involves delivering evidence-based, quality care to patients, establishing timely treatment plans, and fostering positive relationships with patients, families, clinicians, and hospital staff. The clinic specializes in advanced rehabilitation techniques including Wound Care, Splinting, and Early Mobility programs. Ascension St. Vincent Health System holds certifications as a Level II Trauma Center, Joint Certified, and Stroke Certified.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE approved physical therapy program
- PT with a minimum of 2 years
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification

- Experience working with a diverse patient population in neuro, trauma, and ortho
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to exceed their functional outcome
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
