Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus six (6) years of related experience required.
  • Master's degree and four (4) years of related experience accepted.
  • Three (3) years of experience must include: Java; JMeter; LoadRunner; Splunk; JavaScript; NodeJS; DevOps; Cl/CD pipeline using Jenkins; GitHub & Bitbucket; SOA; OOAD; OOP; Websphere Application Server; Eclipse IDE; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP and Servlet; Spring; ORMs, including Hibernate; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; and SQL Data Store – Oracle.

  • Responsible to develop and execute comprehensive performance test strategies, plans, and scripts for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Lead a team of performance engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Design and implement scalable, robust performance test frameworks and tools.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of performance test results, identifying bottlenecks, and providing actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate performance testing into the Cl/CD pipeline and address performance issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving performance-related problems in production and pre-production environments.
  • Establish and maintain performance monitoring dashboards and generate regular reports on the system performance and capacity.
  • Research and evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies for performance engineering.
  • Implement best practices and continuously improve the performance testing process.
  • Clearly articulate performance test findings and their business impact to technical and non-technical audiences.
