About The Position

The Lead Patient Escort provides direction to transportation personnel in the Supervisor’s absence and assists the Supervisor with scheduling, preparing reports, and maintaining equipment in proper working condition. The role also escorts and transports patients, equipment, and deceased persons in accordance with established methods and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience as a Patient Escort.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct transportation personnel in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Assist the Supervisor with scheduling.
• Prepare various reports.
• Maintain equipment in proper working condition.
• Escort and transport patients, equipment, and deceased persons according to established methods and procedures.
