Lead Pastor
About The Position
Iglesia Roca Viva in Deltona, Florida, is seeking a Spirit-led, Spanish-speaking pastor to shepherd and grow the church. This part-time position is 15–20 hours per week and is suited to someone who is bi-vocational or retired and committed to ministry and the advancement of the Gospel. The pastor will focus on evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development; teach the Word of God; foster family-oriented ministry; and equip believers for leadership. The role includes reaching families in the Deltona area and nurturing spiritual growth, with a long-term vision of establishing and supporting all church ministries. The ideal candidate is charismatic in worship, open to the freedom and movement of the Holy Spirit, and values both the power of God's presence and sound biblical teaching. The pastor will collaborate and communicate with the leadership team to build a unified, mission-driven church body, and will lead with love for God, humility, and care for people.
Requirements
- Meet the basic pastoral requirements established by the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
- Demonstrate a strong, mature faith in Jesus Christ and a consistent, trustworthy testimony.
- Have some experience serving in a small church setting and/or involvement in church planting.
- Provide two references from previous pastors or ministry leaders who can speak to character, ministry experience, and leadership.
- Be Spanish-speaking.
- Be committed to ministry and the advancement of the Gospel.
