Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a painting role.
  • Proven expertise in using painting tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in manuals and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior lead or senior-level experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate painting projects, ensuring all tasks are completed with outstanding quality and strict adherence to specifications.
  • Responsibility of the lead is being prepared to be productive with tools, material, and information.
  • Prepare surfaces and apply paint using various techniques and equipment.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Maintain equipment and materials necessary to complete operations.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure flawless finishes and adherence to nVent’s standards.
  • Align with all applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed and actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
