Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Painter to oversee and execute high-quality painting projects in Savannah, GA. This role requires a hands-on leader who works with a high level of autonomy, demonstrates strong decision-making skills, and provides day-to-day leadership to painting crews while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Lead Painter or senior-level painter- minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Thorough knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation
Ability to read and interpret job scopes, work orders, or specifications
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

Experience overseeing multiple job sites or crews
Knowledge of safety regulations and job-site compliance
Prior experience training or mentoring painters

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise painting crews on residential, commercial, or industrial projects
Perform painting, surface preparation, coating application, and finishing work to high standards
Make on-site decisions related to workflow, materials, and problem resolution
Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately
Inspect completed work to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications
Ensure adherence to safety policies, OSHA standards, and proper use of PPE
Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, or clients as needed
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
Train and mentor team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
