About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Lead Package Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing package handling operations, ensuring efficiency, and leading a team of package handlers. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in package handling or a related field.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work the specified shift: Friday through Sunday from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with warehouse management systems.
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of package handlers.
- Ensure efficient and accurate sorting and handling of packages.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Train new team members on package handling procedures.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing as needed.
- Communicate with management regarding operational status and any issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of $23.10.
- $1.00/hour shift differential for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hours.
