About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Lead Package Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing package handling operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will work closely with the management team to coordinate daily activities and support the overall success of the logistics operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a package handling or logistics role.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work the specified shift hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with warehouse management systems.
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of package handlers.
- Ensure all packages are sorted, loaded, and unloaded accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Train new package handlers on proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Communicate with management regarding operational status, issues, and potential improvements.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking.
- Operate package handling equipment as needed.
