Lead Org Development

AT&T•Dallas, TX

About The Position

AT&T is hiring a skills assessment leader to build and lead its skills assessment program. The role develops fair, accurate, AI-powered assessments that measure employee skills against the Enterprise Skills Framework. Employees who pass earn certifications and digital badges intended to support job moves, reskilling, and workforce planning. The role shapes how employees build and demonstrate skills, shifting the focus from courses completed to skills demonstrated. It tests approaches such as AI coaching and learning in the flow of work, and partners across learning, talent, HR technology, and the business to help employees find paths for growth as AI changes work. The position leads assessment strategy and design, including skill selection, assessment levels, certifications, questions, hands-on tasks, passing scores, and scoring rubrics. It uses generative AI responsibly, with human review and bias checks, and may build adaptive tests that direct employees with skill gaps to targeted learning before retesting. The role awards certifications and Credly badges under the Open Badges standard, supports retesting for renewal, and connects assessment results to Workday and Cornerstone. Success is measured by faster closure of skill gaps, more internal role placements, lower hiring and training costs, accurate and secure credentialing with maintained accreditation, and faster assessment development and shorter tests using AI and adaptive testing without lowering quality. This is a full-time, onsite role performed at the designated work location five days per week in Dallas, Texas. Relocation is not offered.
