About The Position

The Lead Office Cleaner ensures facility operations follow policies and procedures and coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and guiding team members. The Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent and demonstrates established standards for keeping buildings and facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and helping with general janitorial duties as needed. The position is located in Downtown Nashville, where the employee will regularly be in contact with dogs on-site. Two Monday–Friday schedules are listed: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience.
One year of customer service experience.
One year of lead or supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Complete any additional certifications or training required by the site type.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Provide leadership and direction to team members.
Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
Manage keys and access cards for the property.
Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features and items.
Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
