About The Position

Milestone Therapy is hiring a Lead Occupational Therapist to mentor clinicians and raise the standard of pediatric occupational therapy across school, clinic, hospital, and home settings. The role combines hands-on pediatric therapy with clinical leadership, supporting the growth of OTs and OTAs while helping shape clinical standards and programs. The Lead Occupational Therapist does not handle payroll, annual reviews, PTO scheduling, or disciplinary actions; those responsibilities belong to managers.

Requirements

Active Illinois and/or Indiana Occupational Therapy License.
Two years of pediatric occupational therapy experience across school, clinic, and/or home settings.
Demonstrated strength in team leadership, mentorship, and clinical communication.
Passion for helping clinicians grow and helping children thrive.

Responsibilities

Mentor and develop occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants across multiple service lines.
Serve as a clinical expert by problem-solving, reviewing complex cases, and driving outcomes.
Deliver direct pediatric occupational therapy services across different environments.
Collaborate with leadership and managers to improve clinical standards and develop programs.
Support teammates with confidence, curiosity, compassion, and humor.
