About The Position

Milestone Therapy is hiring a Lead Occupational Therapist to mentor clinicians and raise the standard of care across school, clinic, hospital, and home settings. The role combines hands-on pediatric occupational therapy services with clinical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration on clinical standards and program development. The Lead Occupational Therapist provides clinical support to teammates but does not handle payroll, annual reviews, PTO scheduling, or disciplinary action; those duties belong to managers.

Requirements

• Active Illinois and/or Indiana Occupational Therapy License.
• At least 2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience across school, clinic, and/or home settings.
• Demonstrated strength in team leadership, mentorship, and clinical communication.
• Passion for helping clinicians grow and helping children thrive.
• Confidence in occupational therapy practice, curiosity about the team's needs, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants across multiple service lines.
• Serve as a clinical expert by problem-solving, reviewing complex cases, and driving outcomes.
• Deliver direct pediatric occupational therapy services across different environments.
• Collaborate with leadership and managers to improve clinical standards and develop programs.
• Provide therapeutic support to teammates.
