About The Position

Under the supervision of an assigned Nutrition Services Supervisor, leads and participates in the preparation and sale of food products at assigned elementary school; coordinates related inventory, sanitation and record-keeping functions; trains and provides work direction and guidance to assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school and two years increasingly responsible food service experience
• Incumbents are required to adhere to the annual minimum required training hours for School Nutrition Staff per the USDA Guide to Professional Standards for School Nutrition Programs
• Hold and maintain current ServSafe certificate or equivalent (California Retail Food Code)
• Applicants are required to have passed their 6 month probationary period in their current position before being eligible to apply for a new position
