About The Position

Pathway Family Services is seeking a Full-Time Lead Nurse for their PRTF facility. This role involves leading a team of healthcare professionals to provide oversight and treatment planning for the physical well-being of children and adolescents receiving residential treatment for behavioral health needs. The Lead Nurse will ensure assessments are completed, medication management orders are fulfilled, and patients and families are educated about their care. Responsibilities include coordinating health appointments, working with in-house medication providers, and ensuring all documentation meets federal, state, and program requirements. The position is in-office and requires a trauma-informed approach when collaborating with clients, families, and team members.

Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas.
Must be 21 years of age and 3 years older than the oldest resident.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must meet agency underwriting standards while driving agency or personal vehicle to transport clients.
Must have a valid driver’s insurance.
Must be eligible for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing needs.
Completion of a Predictive Index assessment.

Supervision experience preferred.
