Requirements

Valid driver license
Clean abstract
Must have own tools
Previous experience with diesel engine diagnostics-repair & maintenance, hydraulic diagnostics-repair & maintenance
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Own diagnostics, repair planning, parts specification, and mechanical quality control, and technician development.
Nothing leaves the shop mechanically until this seat signs off.
Diagnostics and root-cause analysis
Repair plans and repair sequence
Parts list specification (what to buy)
Mechanical QC gate / final mechanical sign-off
Training and coaching technicians
Diagnose vehicles and confirm root cause.
Build repair plans and parts lists.
Support technicians on complex work.
Run the mechanical QC gate on jobs ready for delivery.
Coach technicians and review quality concerns.
Review project progress and upcoming parts needs.
Support the Supervisor's production planning.
