About The Position

The Lead Marketing Sponsorships Budget Advisor supports the Sponsorships Team and Marketing Division to own budget planning and management as well as measuring results/impact/value of sponsorships marketing programs. You will provide analysis and assistance to drive budgeting and financial planning for AmFam’s sports and entertainment partnerships. You will report to the Senior Manager, Sponsorships, Partnerships & Events. In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from either Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply and should review the internal mobility guidelines in the hybrid policy reference guide for more information on potential relocation. Depending on the candidate pool, this position may be filled at a lower level to maintain alignment with experience and qualifications. We will not consider candidates who require current or future sponsorship for this position.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of business planning processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting business plan and financial information to leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of insurance accounting and operations.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques and/or data modeling.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, budget, and forecasting techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience performing basic financial and/or operational analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and lead the annual planning process and meetings for the division.
  • Serve as expert resource for operational analysis and planning to other team members.
  • Present divisional plans and analyses to leadership and provide guidance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement business plan initiatives and monitor ongoing progress.
  • Lead the analysis of actual performance against budget and the annual business plan and make recommendations.
  • Communicate divisional performance metrics within and outside the division.
  • Lead the planning and development of various financial analyses needed for divisional initiatives.
