About The Position

Gemini is building out its Predictions product and is creating a new team to lead its partnerships program. The Predictions Partnerships Lead will own relationships with traders and distribution partners crucial for making predictions markets tradable. This is a highly visible role central to the Predictions roadmap, requiring deep understanding of prediction markets (trending contracts, liquidity, marketplace dynamics) and strong relationship management skills. The role involves identifying prospective partners, leading outreach and relationship-building, and converting conversations into active partnerships. It's a high-impact role with significant ownership, designed for a proactive operator who wants to set strategy, elevate the team, and achieve success. The ideal candidate is someone who is 'chronically online,' a builder, or competitive. This role requires being in person twice a week at the New York City, NY office.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Partnerships, preferably in crypto or an emerging technology.
  • Experience building partner programs or ambassador ecosystems from scratch.
  • Real fluency with Prediction markets, including trading behavior, order books, market-making mechanics, and liquidity development on an exchange.
  • Comfortable leading commercial terms and working with legal/compliance to finalize agreements and onboard new partners.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess opportunities, track liquidity/volume performance, and make data-informed prioritization decisions.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory and competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities across the predictions ecosystem, including market makers, data providers, traders, and distribution partners, to expand brand awareness of Gemini’s Predictions product.
  • Structure partnership terms in collaboration with legal, finance, and compliance teams.
  • Manage the onboarding, integration, and activity of partners, working closely with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Act as the escalation point for any partner-related issues.
  • Develop a deep and current understanding of the competitive landscape and translate this into actionable strategy.
