About The Position

MountainView Medical Imaging, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist in Seneca, South Carolina. The role supports training and quality assurance for mammography and routine technologists, while serving as a resource for education, clinical care, and imaging issues. The position includes travel to practice locations for training and work in an outpatient imaging setting.

Requirements

Graduate of a recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
Certification as a Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) by the Texas Department of Health.
Mammography certification.
Current CPR and AED certification.
Two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology.
Currently working as a Routine/Mammography Technologist Level I or higher.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills, with the ability to motivate others.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of mammography experience.
Five or more years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with training newly hired and cross-training technologists.
Complete final checkoffs for newly trained mammography, routine, and cross-training technologists before they are released to perform exams.
Provide additional training for current technologists as needed.
Travel to all locations for training purposes.
Serve as a resource for education, clinical care, and imaging issues.
Perform technical quality reviews of mammography exams as part of the monthly technologist QA program.
Manage routine or mammography technologist quality control, including communicating radiologist-submitted issues to technologists and managers and providing improvement feedback.
