Lead Mammography Technologist
About The Position
The Lead Mammography Technologist assists personnel with daily departmental activities and produces high-quality mammography images while focusing on customer satisfaction and following an established standard of care. The role requires respect for the confidentiality of patients, family members, and staff. The technologist helps ensure facility ACR accreditation and successful MQSA inspections, and upholds high standards of quality in all aspects of patient care at the Breast Center. Additional responsibilities may include participating in MQSA and ACR accreditation processes, working with the department manager or director to maintain optimum image quality, overseeing patient correspondence regarding abnormal results, providing patient education, and providing or overseeing staff training and education.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of applicable experience.
- Associate degree.
