About The Position
Performs and supervises all aspects of radiographic procedures at a supervisory level to ensure the coordination of all procedures being performed by personnel. This role works with the adult population and reports directly to the Director of Imaging. The Lead is accountable for delivering efficient, high-quality services while supervising technical personnel to perform high-quality exams within established protocols and guidelines. Responsibilities include outlining work assignments, maintaining supplies, and ensuring the protection and safety of personnel and patients. The Lead Technologist also assists in evaluating technical personnel and student radiographers and participates in on-call coverage.
Requirements
- LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others
- Relevant Work Experience
- 3 years of experience
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities
- Supervises a variety of technical procedures to ensure that technologists utilize independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
- Assumes responsibility for designated areas, personnel, and procedures.
- Delivers efficient, high-quality services to patients, physicians, and customers.
- Provides supervision to technical personnel to perform high-quality exams within protocols and guidelines.
- Outlines work assignments at the commencement of the shift for all technologists, including maintaining and stocking supplies, rooms, and equipment.
- Ensures the protection and safety of themselves, patients, and co-workers.
- Assists in evaluating all technical personnel and student radiographers within the department.
- Participates in on-call coverage for the modality.
