About The Position

Karya Property Management is looking for a Lead Maintenance to join the team at our Music City Flats property! This is a 145 unit property. This is a full time position and compensation will range based on experience.
The Lead Maintenance role is responsible for overseeing the physical property, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects.

Requirements

• 2 + years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related role
• Must be HVAC and EPA certified
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Customer service experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be flexible and dependable
• Must be a team player

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units
• Coordinate and schedule appropriate safety and skills training for maintenance employees
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Oversee maintenance staff, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to appropriate team members
• Contribute to the development of the overall maintenance budget and ensure compliance at the property
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as needed
• Perform other duties assigned
