About The Position

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent performs and oversees a room preventive maintenance team of four (4) persons. This role is responsible for the total suite care in 500 guest rooms, overseeing a four (4) person crew. The position requires adherence to Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures, performing preventive maintenance on systems, conducting walk-through inspections of guest rooms to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance, and general suite care. Repairs include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpets, fixtures, case goods, and general cleaning. The Lead Maintenance Tech must maintain technical logs and records, understand Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies and procedures to minimize business interruption, and prioritize projects. Promoting positive public/employee relations and maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment are also key responsibilities. The role may involve other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical certificate
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience with commercial/industrial plumbing or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must possess excellent hand/eye coordination as well as close vision.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and oversees a room preventive maintenance team of four (4) persons.
  • Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
  • Conducts walk-through inspections of guest rooms to insure proper up-keep and maintenance, as well as general suite care.
  • Repairs to room plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpets, fixtures, case goods and general cleans.
  • Responsible for total suite care in 500 guest rooms, overseeing a four (4) person crew.
  • Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
  • Ensures minimal interruption to business operations and prioritizes projects appropriately by understanding Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned.
