About The Position

Precision Profiles and Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Machine Operator ready to take on additional responsibility in a hands-on manufacturing role. The position involves operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, supporting daily production, and helping coordinate work on a busy production floor. The employee will work alongside the production team, provide guidance when needed, and help ensure quality products are completed on schedule. A current Lead or Supervisor title is not required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or mechanical equipment.
• Experience setting up machines, performing changeovers, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Comfortable using a computer for basic production tracking.
• Dependable, organized, and willing to take ownership of your work.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience helping train or guide other employees is a plus; it is not required.
• Previous supervisory experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and assist with daily production.
• Set up machines, perform changeovers, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Help keep production moving and jobs on schedule.
• Work alongside the team and provide guidance when needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Track production, measurements, and other basic information.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce production delays.
